The Asia segment focuses on synthetic products for yarn manufacturers, knitters and weavers that produce fabric for apparel, home furnishings, automotive, industrial, and other end-use markets principally in Asia and Europe. The company was founded by George Allen Mebane IV in 1969 and is headquartered in Greensboro, NC.
