Nectar FinanceNectarFi is a self-custodial financial platform built on Solana. Users deposit fiat currency (USD, EUR, Nigerian Naira) which is held in stablecoins. The platform provides virtual US and EU accounts for receiving payments from global employers and clients. Users can send funds internationally with minimal fees and faster settlement times compared to traditional wire transfers. NectarFi also allows buying and selling stocks and cryptocurrencies within the same interface. A Visa spend card is planned for launch, which will work at over 150 million merchants.The platform uses self-custodial smart contracts, meaning users control their assets rather than the platform holding them. Lending infrastructure is powered by Kamino, a Solana-based DeFi protocol. Financial data is encrypted using Arcium MPC (multi-party computation), which keeps transaction details private even from NectarFi while maintaining regulatory compliance. Instead of traditional credit scores based on debt, NectarFi uses a "Trust Score" that considers income, spending behavior, and wealth accumulation. The target users are individuals who want banking-like services (accounts, cards, transfers) without a traditional bank's custody and freeze risks, particularly people in regions with limited access to global financial tools.
