Tessera was a decentralized protocol for fractional NFT ownership that vaulted NFTs and minted fungible ERC-20/ERC-1155 tokens (Raes) representing shares with collective governance, reserve-price voting, and auction mechanics. Founded as Fractional and backed by investors including Paradigm, the team announced it would wind down operations in May 2023.
